6-8-6
It was time for a little boost for the plants, half a measuring spoon 6-8-6 per 1 gallon,
and a whole spoon for the bigger pots, it took only a couple of hours and a sore back,
'll do it again in 2 weeks.
And then there is that Paeonia..........

Dog domino.........
After a hard day sleeping,
it sometimes gets too much and gravity strikes again,in true Canadian tradition with an eye to the Bejing olympics : synchronized .
Whereas our young watering gardener is quite stunned by it all.And misses the plants completely !

Sold a lot and then some more and it was fun ,such a beautiful site, and all our wonderful vendors and customers, and only 7 more days and than again............

who's watching?
This Barred Owl is causing a lot of distress in the neighbourhood, the Robbins are trying to get him out of the woods, away from their nests ,so they are constantly dive bombing him, and sounding the alarm, a bit restless.
It is still quite cold, so not too many plants are blooming, any way some are.

a day at the races
Well, this was the race between Tashi , Selma and cousin Darrell on the day that cousin Darrell was going to his new home in Richmond.
Jodi was at the far end of the beach and I was holding on to the dogs, they had a good start, except Selma who headed straight for the logs, where she sometimes finds leftover food, the boys had a good run though.

Three important daily rituals, taking care of slugs, dogs and a good fat cappucino; the slugs are a bit of a headacheThree important daily rituals, taking care of slugs, dogs and a good fat cappucino; the slugs are a bit of a headache, they can cause a lot of damage quick, this morning they timbered my new Leonitis seedlings,I was so proud of them, I had checked an hour earlier, lifted all the pots, and now they are gone, just some slimey trails left,sigh..........
And look the geese are flying north, yeah, summer is on the way.
After work time for a walk at Fords Cove, gorgeous lush meadows.
