Sonnenthal .

So this is Germany ,

the letters on the key board are a little mixed up ,

ö , ü, ä, ß are the new ones and the y and z have swapped places . Being a not so fluent letter tapper my self ,makes it all the easier to get confused .



So Germany, haha , it is actually very nice around here , Sonnenthal is a beautiful farm house , now Meditationszentrum ,in rolling hills , farmland , woods and small villages , so quiet .



The weather has been great so far plenty of blue sky and only a little rain .
The food here is wunderbar , so many cakes .
And good people .

Bicycle trip to Cortes .

What a killer !
Midlife crisis in action , most guys go for a Harley or a Porsche , not me ,noooooooohhhh,
a bicycle .
So my first trip on my new Masi bike all the way to Cortes, well Jodi dropped me off at the ferry , bummed a ride across Denman , and then the open road..................... in the rain ! Eighty kilometres !
Spent the night on Quadra ,very comfy.



So, I discovered that there is no stretch of flat road on Cortes ,up and down , new respect for those Tour de France guys .After all that screaming and burning muscle pain I stumbled upon this , a Gompa !

Seedy Saturday and some Orca's

A very busy Seedy Saturday in Courtenay , the line up to get in was some 10 minutes ! For a seed exchange ! Yes we're desperate for some Spring !




Big treat on the ferry ride between Denman and Buckley Bay, a pod of Orca's fishing for some herring , pretty spectacular !
