Rain...

A nice rainy night,
everything is heavy with water, quite beautiful and that Magnolia is so sweet. Whereas that Corokia is so weird.

Greenhouse maintance 101

There are two disadvantages of having a greenhouse near the woods,
falling and flying branches poke holes in the cover , and in spring there is a lot of pollen on the plastic which makes the greenhouse a little too dark , you know those tomatoes and cukes need all the sun they can get, so on a good and rainy day I go out in my wellies and raincoat , duct tape a broom on the end of my extension pole and ..............scrub ,scrub, scrub...Fun !

Oh Magnolia !

Magnolia sieboldii .

Snakes again. And tadpoles.

The big pond dried very rapidly,
big problem for the hundreds of tadpoles, Jodi went on a rescue mission, and saved many , so our ( lined ) pond is pretty full now, more frog choruses next spring.

This a photo send to me by a customer,
the snakes were trying to get warm, so cute.
