At last some sun, still not a lot of warmth, but things are growing, some of the seedlings will go into 4" pots soon, that is fun work, so there'll be plenty of Tree lupins, Spanish broom and - heaven forbid - Shasta's and Snaps this year.

" Bere weer",that's what one would call it in Dutch ,the weather is awful today, really wet, sure a change from the cold and sunny we've had so far in April, the coldest on since 1953, as you can imagine plants are a little behind normal, my guess is 2 weeks behind, oh well , that's life.

Spring at last, still way too cold, everything is slow, so flowers last longer, well this one above is a not for sale Anemone, I'll try to propagate it next year, it's sure tough .

These Acer palmatum 'Sango Kaku' 's are so striking with their bark and fresh leaves, the woodland Anemones are an other sign of spring , as are the Pulmonarias , a great splash of blue, against the orange of the Spiraeas.
